Alexandra Shadrow ’10 is the founder ofUNItiques: the fashion marketplace where millennial girls buy andsell fashion from their own closets.Alex inadvertently started her company out of her dorm room at Boston University (BU) after a scary encounter with a Craigslist creep during her junior year in school, where two-thirds of the student body are members of theUNItiques community.With UNItiques now thriving in over 600 cities, Alex has since been recognized by the likes ofForbesandThe Huffington Post, speaks as a panelist at Harvard University, and many more. She has also appeared on TV as a winner of Lifetime's new hit show, "Project Runway Startup.”
